Young Reporters Fellowship Opens Applications for Aspiring Sudanese Journalists

Following its official lunch recently, the Young ReportersFellowship (YRF Sudan), an innovative, fully funded international scholarship programme for young journalists, is excited to announce that applications are now open for its inaugural cohort. This fellowship is exclusively available to Sudanese nationals who are passionate about journalism and committed to making a positive impact in their communities.

YRF  is a groundbreaking programme designed to empower aspiring journalists in Sudan by providing comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and mentorship.

Delivered by international experts through a rigorous curriculum covering multimedia storytelling, digital journalism, investigative reporting, and ethical journalism practices, fellows will gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field and promote truth, transparency, and social change.

Roaa ALI, Executive Director of Fellowship, highlighted the importance of this opportunity: "We are thrilled to open applications for the Young Reporters Fellowship. This programme will nurture talented young journalists and equip them with the tools to drive impactful storytelling that fosters peace, development, and community service in Sudan."
